Cheerleading News

Here are a few updates on some cheerleading items:

• We finally got the last of the uniform order yesterday and everything appears to be correct!  Our tops are being embroirdered now by a local company.  Therefore, uniforms will be handed out at practice next Thursday along with cheerleading buckets.  The cheer buckets are property of WHJS Jr. Spartan Cheerleaders....if a cheerleader does not turn in their bucket when the season is over, the cost is $25 and the cheerleader will not receive their trophy.  The $25 has to be paid or the bucket has to be turned in before receiving a trophy at the banquet.  Alot of work was put in by the girls and parents through our donut fundraiser to cover the costs of these buckets, so please take care of them and return to your coach at the end of the season.  The organization will reuse these buckets next year.

• Head Coach Stephanie is making each squad's schedule to include the 9/10 yr old games.  No one squad will have to take on the entire schedule, it will be shared amongst all the squads.  It looks like each squad may have 2-3 more games added to their schedule and everyone should be getting soon.  The reason for the extra games is because our 9/10yr football team does not have a squad due to us not having another cheerleading coach.

• We will be doing T-shirt orders starting this week.  Order forms will be handed out at Thursday's practice.  Forms and money will need to be turned in by Thursday Sept 9th at practice. The cost is $12 for tees and $14 for long sleeve tees.  $3 for 2X or larger.

• Pictures on Sept 12th on the high school football field.  Please see your coach for your picture time on this day.  All cheerleaders should be in full uniform for pictures.
